How to Hostess at Board Meetings


HOSTESSING AN EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETING 

Keep in mind that the Board meetings are primarily for the purpose of conducting Club business.  Please bring 3 platters of food, one to include fruit, is plenty. About 24 people attend on average.

8:30 A.M.: PICK UP KEY for the Lightkeeper’s Cottage at the reception desk of the Cohasset Police station. Try to be ready by 9:00 when board members may begin to arrive.

AFTER meeting: Room and kitchen need to be cleaned up, all food and paper items removed, all trash and trash bag removed, door locked, and the KEY returned to the Police station.

 

PASS THE SHOPPING BAG TO NEXT MONTHS TEAM.

SHOPPING BAG INCLUDES: Plastic table cloths for two long rectangular serving tables and five round tables.

PASS-ALONG BAG: You will be responsible for providing the paper plates, napkins and any utensils.

HOSTESS TEAM PROVIDES:

•3 food items (e.g. deviled eggs, fruit, coffee cake, pastries, muffins, breads)

•Serving utensils as necessary (e.g. large knife, scissors, pie server)

• FOR CLEAN UP: paper towels/ dish soap/dish towel/spray cleaner/sponge and a heavy-duty, extra-large black plastic bag for kitchen trash barrel.
